1. Data we collect
We collect the personal data you voluntarily provide through the valuation or contact form:
- Identification data: first name and surname.
- Contact data: telephone number and email address.
- Data about your property: location, intention to sell, whether it is currently on the market.
2. Purpose of processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- To contact you and offer you a free valuation of your property.
- To manage the business relationship arising from your request.
- To send you relevant information about the status of your enquiry.
3. Legal basis for processing
Processing is based on your explicit consent given when you submit the form, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
4. Recipients of the data
Your data may be transferred to GoHighLevel Inc. (United States), the lead-management platform used to process your request. This international transfer is made with the appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.
If you have accepted advertising cookies in the cookie notice, when you submit a form we inform Meta Platforms Ireland Limited that a contact has taken place, together with your email and telephone number in encrypted (hashed) form, in order to measure the effectiveness of our adverts on Facebook and Instagram. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw via "Cookie settings" in the footer. Meta may process the data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
No data is passed to other third parties unless required by law.
5. Data retention
Your data will be kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last interaction. After that period it will be deleted unless there is an active business relationship or a legal obligation requiring it to be retained.
6. Your rights (Art. 15-22 GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation and a copy of your data.
- Rectification (Art. 16): correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure (Art. 17): request the deletion of your data.
- Restriction (Art. 18): restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured format.
- Objection (Art. 21): object to the processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@farorealestate.com stating your request. We will reply within a maximum of 30 days.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.
8. Cookies and local storage
This site uses the browser's localStorage for functional purposes (remembering your progress in the form, the video unlock, and which advert or link you arrived from). As this storage is necessary for the service you requested, it does not require prior consent under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE. Meta's advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice; the details are in the cookie policy.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction, in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR. Communications take place over HTTPS.
